![]() | About KecsetKecset or Păltiniş (Romanian: Păltiniş; Hungarian: Kecset) is a commune in Harghita County, Romania. The village lies between Korond (Corund) and Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc), at 1 km from the 13A country road. Is one of the settlements in Farkaslaka (Lupeni) community. The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 1992 census it has a population of 430. The village lies in a valley naer River Gada. There is a picturesque ambience, far from the noise and smog of the towns, in a valley. Kecset is a reformed village with a Reformed Church. The church was built between 1838-1842.
